Over a 5-6 month period of brushing my dogs teeth daily before I get ready for work, she waits in the 'dental chair' to have her teeth brushed. Dogs are creatures of habit. By brushing her teeth at the same time every day in the same location, she now waits in the room for me to brush her teeth. My dog was 6 years old when I started training her for brushing her teeth. I try to brush Mikka's teeth every day. the vet keeps trying to convince me to have them done, but I am not going to subject Mikka to that and put her under.
