We all know that panty hose are costly.  Instead of just throwing away panty hose that run and that you can no longer wear, here are some other uses:

1. panty hose can be used to collect lint or debris in a variety of places to prevent clogs in sinks or other basins
2. panty hose are strong and can be used in place of twine or string to hold plants to stick or tie items together
3. you can cut the panty hose and make knee hi hose to wear under pants.  You will need to use an elastic to hold up the knee hi

after reading the newspaper, I have found that I can use the paper for items other than just recycling it. 

1. Newspaper makes excellent bird cage liners. 
2. I also use it to protect the floor/carpet when working with indoor plants.  Any dirt that spills out is collected in the newspaper.  When you are done with the indoor plant, roll up the newspaper and throw it out.  No vacuuming required with this method.

I have found that laundry detergent plastic containers can be reused .  I have enlarged the pour spout large enough to fit gardening tools in the empty laundry container.  The handle on the container makes it easy for me to carry my gardening tools from plant to plant.  Gardening just became easier.

don’t through your old toothbrush out-reuse it for cleaning purposes.  old toothbrushes make great scrubbers for hard to reach corners.  I have used old toothbrushes with cleaning solution to scrub grout in showers in between tiles and the corners where the tile meets the floor.  I have also found toothbrushes are easy to access hard to reach places behind faucets to clean.
