How to Remove Pet Hair From Fabric

If you have pets in the house, you know how clingy cat and dog hair is on curtains, upholstery, or other fabric surfaces.  The reason it clings is because there is a static charge to it.  To remove the hair, fill up a squirt bottle with 1 oz of liquid fabric  softener and 6 oz of water.  For curtains, spray the air, not the surface to remove the charge.  Brush the curtain down so the hair falls to the floor and vacuum it up.   Or you can put on a pair of rubber gloves, wet them and run your hands over the upholstery to remove the hair.

How to Clean Discolored Pots and Pans

If your pots and pans are getting discolored, try cleaning the outside with steel wool.  Scrub the outside of the pans which get scorched, and rarely deep cleaned.  After much scrubbing, you will begin to see your pans shine.  If you scrub hard and long enough, your pans can look like new.
NOTE: only use steel wool on the outside of the pans; most interior pans are coated and will be harmed if you use the steel wool on the inside of the pans.
